i love your writing! i feel as though i am reading a charlie bone book. i am still waiting for the 8th book to come out so this is nice to read in the mean time. keep up the good work!

Wow, this is really, really, really good.
I've got chills down my spine...
You've got a talent for suspense, and a knack for dramatic scenes. Your word choice is really good too.
In fact, the only bad thing I can say is a couple grammatical errors here and there, and even those are few and far between.
Excellent and I'll look forward to the next chapter.

love everything! the beginning was really effective (on the edge of my seat! who's this stranger?), and the humor throughout is very sprightly. I love that you gave Charlie ("I prefer being unique") some personality and a good sense of humor, too. Yay. ^_^

Um... how to improve story? DETAILS, MAN, DETAILS. I want to read more of this 'cauze it's seriously freaking me out in the best way possible. Your character interactions are spot on and perfect, I just want to know just a wee bit more about settings and so on. But seriously, continue. Ray is the epitome of pwnage, and I reallyreally wanna watch her develop.

Uh, finally a decent Charlie Bone fanfiction. I hope Ray doesn't join Charlie and the gang and become a good guy. Stealing souls is such an awesome and possibly evil endowment, you could really go somewhere nifty with that.
Really, the only reason I'm reviewing is so you'll hurry up with the next chapter, but good job. . .keep up the good work and so on.
I love Gabriel, so more of him would be great.

OMG! I just started reading this story, then I went on to this fifth chapter thinking I would find out what happened to Tancred and Lyell, only to see that you were going to DELETE it? That HAS to be a crime or something. No way should you delete it. And I think the pace is wonderful. You should TOTALLY continue how you're going now. It's so hard to find a well-written story of fanfiction these days, it's a felony for you to delete it! Please don't!
Anyway, now that that's done, the end of chapter 3 gave me goosebumps. and when i read the end of chapter 4, I flipped out! And i love how you use the musical terms at the beginning.When I saw Estinto was a synonym to Venesco, I almost freaked. I'm like "OMG!" I'm very curious about Ray. She's so mysterious because she's so shy and hides herself away. I just noticed a small grammer mistake you made in chapter 4. It's "[...] be his father now when the family when for car trips." I'm pretty sure that second "when" is supposed to be "went." ugh, i don't like car trips. oh, and i wonder who the person in the 1st chapter. I no it's not Ray, her father maybe? and in chap. 3, with the "joint-patnership" of Olivia and Fidelio, i HAVE to ask (cuz i love them both so much) is this going to have any romance in it? maybe Fido/Livvie? Yeah, I no, I suck. I'm a hopeless romantic and i felt the need to ask. don't think i'm a loser. I'm not... well, not a total one. What I really love?

Charlie’s face fell at the morbid topic. 'Well… not really,' he said, reluctantly entering the conversation. 'I mean, we don’t know the person behind the crime, do we? It could be another bad descendent of the Red King, bent on killing all the good ones.'
'I’m not talking about the idea,' Gabriel said dismissively.
When both Billy and Charlie raised their eyebrows, he quickly back tracked his words. 'No – I don’t mean that! I was talking about how difficult it is to track schools with endowed children. Nobody really publicizes their school houses endowed kids, do they?'" I love how Gabe's all flustered. Actually, I love Gabe, period, but still. I just burst out laughing at this. (Read above about what I have to say about me being a loser.)
