The brilliance that is Mrs. Rose Dincht :) I loved your stories when you went under that username, and I can tell just by reading this one, that I'm going to love the stuff posted under this name too! I only wish you'd have been a little more descriptive in their demise at the end LOL I mean after all, I'm a bit of a gore-whore, so when I read about someone getting torture to death, I NEED alllll the bloody details ;) Other than that minor thing though, I loved it. Very well written. I can tell your style has matured since you posted Negative! I'm really glad to see that you're still writing.

I, being the fan of the Legacy of Kain series that I am, and also the support I give to things like t-shirts that say, "...And then Buffy staked Edward. The End.", one can tell right from the get-go that I enjoyed this fanfic very thoroughly, despite its saddening length. Yes, I realize you intended it to be a one-shot, and it makes me come off as a sadistic madman when I suggest this, but perhaps going through this storyline again and writing it in a few chapters wouldn't be such a bad idea; Kain sends his sons on a vicious manhunt as he gives Stephenie and her servants perhaps only a day to flee before he sics his lieutenants on them. The following scenes could be more gruesome or humorous, whatever would be more fitting to you, but it would still give you more room to show off how well you can write and display the personalities of each lieutenant.

Enough of my rambling on about odd ideas, though. What I really should be talking about is how well you'd written this story in general; I've watched the opening movie to Soul Reaver countless times, and to imagine the three of them entering with those seven, almost god-like vampires surrounding them, I actually got a shiver down my spine from how well I could imagine the macabre thoughts running about in both theirs and Edward's heads as they stood in the Sanctuary. Even with Kain holding himself so deceptively passive while the rest of his sons looked upon them like scum, I could tell, simply from how he asked his questions, that he was NOT pleased. If there were anything to complain about, it would make me look like a spelling Nazi, and just about every mistake I'd seen looked to be a typo, rather than a genuine error.

And so, to this story, I tip my hat and applaud you, mostly for satisfying my demand to restore honor to the name 'vampire'. Bravo!

I cannot tell you how elated I am that someone decided to finally say... "WTF is up with Twilight?"

The movie and books are a gay love story about a bunch of Vampires that have issues with food choice.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for killing that woman. Mwah!
