I love pre-BG1 Imoen stories, and even if this one wasn't about Imoen, her appearance in it was as cute as ever.

Also, Gorion was awesome in this story.

Ahh, nothing quite like that first time one discovers alcohol and really gives it a thorough and complete testing, is there?

And ... the insult trading and mage fight in the tavern? Great stuff. GREAT STUFF. Love it.
