Been playing catch up and reading off line, hence no review since the last one. Enjoyed it very much and thanks for taking the time and sharing.
In view of your notes at the end I have to say this last chapter doesn't really feel finished or do the rest of your story justice.
I feel it needs another chapter to round it off. Bringing Jack's body home is one way of doing it and looks the logical one due to the way you've ended this chapter.
If you want him brought back then Jacob or Teal'c will have to think of a good idea. And it need not be an instant recovery just that he will get better.
While reading I kept wondering about Jacob why didn't use a healing device on Jack or on Sam to help them. Surely he would have had it with him as it was a rescue mission. It might not have been able to save Jack but it would have felt more in keeping with the rest of story.
Must say you have got Sam's mood right.
Only you an your muse can decide to do with this as it is your story. Again thanks for sharing.

That's just MEAN! Whether you save Jack or not I'll leave to you (though I will throw in my two cents worth and let you know you just can't go killin' Jack like that! LOL) But you need to finish the story. The way you left it is not a finish. It doesn't feel like 'the end'. Feels like the end of a chapter, but not the end of the story. I truly hope you bring the story to a complete finish by either showing them doing all they can do to save him and ultimately failing and then going through the process of bringing him home blah blah blah or vice versa. Either way, the story's cycle needs to be completed! You can't just leave us hanging like this!
