Wow, this story is actually deeper than I first thought. You took a nice delve into Shadow's psyche and I congratulate you for that.

Ha ha that's funny! :D I have to say that I am kind of in the same position Shadow is in in the story, my boyfriend talks about Star Trek and I have no idea what the references are to, and who the characters are. XD I suppose I'll have to watch it at some point or other... same with Star Wars... XD

I am by no means a sonic fan and I'm not a Trekki, although I did enjoy the recent Star Trek movie and the old Sonic cartoon from over a decade ago, but I really enjoyed this fic. I had almost no idea what it is based on, cuz like I said I was only ever familiar with the cartoon that was based on the game. Not much of a review but I will definately look not more of your Sonic stuff when I get the alerts.
Peace, and have a good weekend.

Addiction to weirdness.
I'm going to assume you smoke. That's a fine excuse for making an erroneous attempt at witty writing. Shadow and Maria are taken completely out of their element.
This is more like a lecture or a gospel. You have not only missed the point of a true Sonic fan fiction and forgot to label it as a crossover, but you've included the most uninteresting and annoying subjects. The bright side is that you haven't spoken about environmentalism.
Usually such cracked fics have a totally amazing ending. A metaphor or an important message most writers pull off. Your message lingered about in several lines and your final words brought nothing new.
Nothing new. When you retell a movie in the wrong category, you take a huge risk. Before deciding this another time, I suggest evaluating whether you add value and whether your value would be precious to more people than you.
Either you're liberal with English, or your quotes like being backwards. Sometimes a standard is friendlier to read.
Have a nice, abuse-free day.

Haha, I liked this one. Being a fairly hard-core Trekkie, particularly of TOS, it was fun to see Shadow sit there and mentally criticize the show's little quirks, all while Maria explains one of Star Trek's biggest points, and that it is a future worth shooting for. I particularly liked the character interaction between the two, and the personalities for both are both right on IMO. :)
Sulu wielding a sword...I think I remember that episode... :p
