Have you ever had the experience of seeing colours or patterns or images in your mind whenever you listen to music or read a text? It happens to me all the time. When listening to instrumental music, colours and patterns-sometimes even abstract images-present themselves to me. In my mind, lyrics of a well-written song or descriptions of certain scenes in a specific text would become concrete images and vivid mental pictures without me making much effort. In some cases, even smells and temperatures would be discernible. And it has been almost impossible for me to describe to others what goes on inside my head. It has always been frustrating for me, not being able to share all that with my loved ones. And it has always been such a lonesome feeling... Until now, that is. The scene where you had Kiddo describe the pink and yellow sparks coming off "Alice" as she flitted around Annie's room floored me. Such vibrant colours and intense, glowing energy! It almost knocked the wind out of me and had me double over to catch my breath. Your description was so sharp and accurate! Bravo!

Are you going to finish this story? I just found it and read it nonstop and now I am addicted and suffer from withdrawal - it just dawned to me that the story wasn't marked "complete"! More fool me. But seriously, are you going to continue with it?

Uh-oh indeed, I take it Annie's birthday is coming up, lol, Edward better run whilst he still can.
See, now being the older woman can have so many benefits just like that little show Annie put on for Chubby Miley Cyrus and her mates at the station. I would have paid to have seen the looks on their faces, hahahahaha! Edward becomes more and more talented by the chapter what with playing the guitar, writing songs and Kung Fu, is there any end to them. If I was Annie watching in that class I probably would have ripped some arms off and poked some eyes out, lol, I swear to God I'm really not violent. Edward should definitely ask for more money or set his own club up.
I'm glad you've enjoyed your trip back through your story, I'm glad I could oblige. I'm looking forward to you finishing it, I know you will because we've all got a party to go to. I'll bring a bottle or four of something and some nibbles but I'm not doing any washing up afterwards, lol.

Wow, I loved this chapter, a lot more happy and a lot less angst. Lol, I can't believe Edward was trying to christen the couch in the state he was in, ten out of ten for effort. Poor Alice, she didn't know whether she was coming or going but definitely worked out that she'd be cuming before getting back into bed, bwahahahaha! Finally Annie is womaning up and going public. You love who you love and people should just learn to accept it, let's face it most of them are jealous anyway, hahahaha! Beatrice has met Edward and Law *swoon* she's definitely fallen for him, now all she as to do is get past all those old ladies in the retirement home. *grins*

Oh, I loved CW&IA, fabulous story, I didn't know that you did one of the banners. I was wrong it wasn't Annie calling his name it was Alice, she was so funny with Edward especially when she got a hard on and then sat there watching him watch Twilight waiting for him to make the connection, lol. Finally Annie seems to have thought about things and made some decisions. I'm so glad that she went after Edward and of course that she said she'd try to be his girlfriend and the biggy, that she loves him, awww.

I can see that Annie was trying to play down what Tom wrote on that card, trying not to upset Edward, but knowing what Edward's like that really wasn't the best way to go. How could she throw his declaration back at him by telling him he's just a kid and doesn't know what love is and brush off his feelings for her? Annie should know better than to lie to him, he could see her flicker. Why does she constantly deny what could be, is it purely their age difference or is his condition coming in to it more now? She said she didn't want the responsibility...responsibility for a child, responsibility for someone different or responsibility for defending who she loves and how others will perceive her? Of course, it could be all three.
We learned something of Annie's past and her brush with domestic violence. I'm with Annie, I wouldn't tolerate violence against me and the man concerned would be out on his arse so fast he wouldn't have time to check what day of the week it was. Edward kept trying to tell her but she just brushed aside everything he said about the black. He certainly needs to get a handle on that temper, given time I think he could do it. Annie's opened up so many possibilities for Edward. She just blithely ran in and changed things for him without thinking about the long term. Had Edward been anyone else it probably wouldn't have mattered that much but he's not is he, he feels so much more and following Tuesday's events and revelations she should have considered what she truly wanted. As I said before, on that first Friday she should've thought about what she wanted in the long term before following Edward off the train.
I feel as though I've been quite harsh on Annie and then I think, well she started it, lol, childish I know, but she did and now she wants to run in the opposite direction because love has been declared, the girlfriend word has been mentioned and Edward has the fiercest temper that he warned her about. She really needs to think about what she truly wants and why...I hope that's why she's called his name.

Whaaat! They christened the new screen bedroom and now Edward's shouted and upset Annie!? What happened? Edward was making such progress, but then Rome wasn't built in a day. It's good to hear from him, to find out what he's thinking and feeling. He was finally learning to let go and realising that good things happened more than bad things.

"Hif mame if Ebwarb? E lookf like Rawwb and hif mame if Ebwarb?!" Bwahahahaha! Oh God, I love Alice, she's hilarious. I can just imagine her reaction to painting the walls white. I also really love all the old dears in the home or should I say The Edward Grey Fanclub Headquarters, lol. Only they could get away with grabbing hold of a 22 year old fuck hot guy and give him a smacker on the lips. Lol, Lucy is Annie in another forty or fifty years, I love the iPod taped to her walker all she needs now are some go faster stripes for it, hahahaha!

Awww, that was so tender and beautiful. I'm so glad that Edward finally let go and let himself experience that blissful feeling because, lets face it, it is one of the best ones, lol. I should imagine that for someone with Edward's condition that it would be so easy to get overwhelmed making it difficult to live day to day life. I've heard of people seeing music and also letters as colours. He must have been so frightened when he was younger to ever show the extent of his condition for fear of being put into a psychiatric hospital. I'm glad he's got Annie but will she say 'I love you' back? People do say a lot in the throes of passion but I think Edward meant it.

It would be like losing yourself in the complete fantasy and not living your own life. It must be so difficult for Edward to be so hyper aware of people's feelings like that especially between his Uncle and Annie. Annie's always going to have to tell the truth or else Edward's going to know and it seems that we won't like him when he's angry. What has he done that's so bad?
I loved it when Annie let all her insecurities about the age difference go and her 'girlfriend' issues. She was much happier and carefree as was Edward. I liked them like that.

Is it just the age thing, Edward looking and acting so much younger sometimes or is there more to it? Annie really should have thought a bit more about her original actions that Friday night if she didn't want more than a one night stand, but then she really doesn't know what she wants does she. It sounds as though she's never done the grown up relationship thing, I mean a fuck buddy is not a relationship, so really her and Edward are on a level playing field on that score...well as far as I know at the moment anyway.
