Interesting chapter. I liked the idea of the setback because in most stories the injured characters go through surgery once and then get more stable over the time. So a setback with additional surgery is rare in stories although it's quite regular in real life.
Looking forward to the next chapter and how the chief wants to make sure Bobby won't wake up.

That damn Chief! Deakins better get his men there QUICK! I wish Logan's suspicions would nag at him... "Why DID the Chief sound so anxious?" I'd luv to see undercover guards (posing as hospital staff or hiding in the closet!) catch the Chief by Bobby's bedside doing something to sabotage him...he's gotta be caught red-handed so that there's no way of talking himself out of it w/ some BS story. Poor Bobby...even tormented in his dreams now... I wish he'd dream of Alex instead -that'd help him heal! Hurry w/an update!

Thank God, Deakins has the sense to bring some guards in! As he and Mike said, the killer still is out there and most likely won't rest until Bobby's dead.
Gotta love Mike: "And I swear, Bobby, I'm going to get them."
And he's right with Moran, too, calling him a "lying bastard!" Doesn't the CoD choke on his own words?
