I am interested in the story, although it is a bit of a dissapointment that Ed can't use Alchemy in here... Well, if I remember correctl didn't they say once that the pocket watch of the state alchemist amplified their abilities? Maybe you could tie that in so he can use alchemy to an extent, and later one he begins how to learn to do alchemy in their world after all, I am hoping for another Lios incident where he says "Behold the true hammer of God!" and makes a giant statue move. If that doesn't work then maybe he can only use alchemy in areas rich with mana, like the seals or something like that, after all I think Ed's cover would be blown in the fire seal area, due to it being so hot in there and he would probably be screaming bloody murder, and the only way they would believe his explanation of being an alchemist is if he did some alchemy. Or after he leaves the fire seal he tries to do alchemy one more time away from everyone and somehow manages to do it then for reasons unknown until they probably find a book in the palmacosta library that might explain thing a little better. Also I just realised something, wouldn't Ed soon see Lloyd's Exsphere and question about it, and later in the story find out it is just like the philosopher stone?

As always you're doing an exellent job in keeping all the characters in character. Poor Ed, that auto-mail must be killer on the poor little guy...oh **! (hides for calling Ed 'little')

Ed: Who are you calling a-tiny-little-midget-plankton-who-can't-reach -the-top-of-your-foot?

Me: What? I never said THAT! (two hours of Ed ranting and me running, later) phew...that...was...scary...

*Ahem* anyways, I liked how the brothers went with Raine instead of Kratos when looking for Lloyd. The Elric's, more so Ed, seem to get along with Raine when it comes to scientific subjects, that'll be fun for later! Can't wait for the Fire Seal!

Ok sorry about my last outburst but can you give ed a glove which has runes that change to the alchemical equation in his mind, so he can still use alchemy.

Because his ability to use alchemy must have been compromised by his warp through what may be the other side of the gate.

The ability to use alchemy may have been reversed because ummm.

for example someone goes through the gate an loses a few limbs but gains the ability to use alchemy without the transmutation and when he goes back through he gets his limbs but loses the ability to do alchemy without a transmutation circle, and ed and al may have been accepted by the gate as a package deal and maybe the alchemy effect is so weak that it may take a few days to start the transmutation. So they may still be able to use alchemy with a transmutation circle rather than without. So since they probably have a rare lost rune which may convert to any equation or word that the holder is thinking(originally made for mute people)and have ed and al forge it into gloves so they can use alchemy again. Well isn't that nice. right right? Please just do something like that so ed will be formidable again

I just love FMA crossovers. I saw one spelling mistake, the old typed-in-angle-instead-of-angel thing. Your story should be showered with more love in the form of reviews.
