This story is wonderful! Your OC doesn't even feel like an OC she's written so well! And you have all of the canon characters down to a T! Your writing flows wonderfully. I was wonderful, could I request something? A one shot or a story if you were up to it of Snake Eyes getting seriously injured (or killed) and Storm Shadow's reaction and feelings to it. I know, it sounds really weird, but I would just really love to read something like that.

Ninjas are impressive for their keep clean in the vents thing. And so is Annie i'm pretty sure I would have happily gone right back to my bed after the first few minutes and happily gone back to sleep instead of doing all that. She is a stubborn (and loyal) one. And she's got one hell of a good commentary going on in her head. its fun! I sort of like when she gets all paranoid or when she's arguing with herself. its hilarous!
So how long was her escape? who won the bet? And can there really be such thing as an Evil pacifist? Hmmmmm in the Joes? Oh yeah.

Heheh. I loved the whole chapter, as usual. Loved Annie's investigations and horror at the accidental "Peeping Tom" moment. Loved Lifeline's annoyance, comparison with BH, and his catching Shortstack at the end.

"They ate traitors and terrorists for breakfast. (Well, not literally. They ate waffles. Or in Storm Shadow's case, granola and/or blueberry bagels . . . why was she even thinking that? Hrm, some of the meds must be still in her system.)"

"I quit," she muttered hoarsely as the coughs subsided. "I signed up to cook food. Period. Here's some food, Annie, put it in a pan until the salmonella's dead. I don't care if Sergeant Major ** and the entire mystic ninja squad calls me a **, I'm gone. This? Is not salmonella." She coughed again and wiped her mouth. "Could be TB, though." Awwwwwwwww... Annie. Ya can't quit now!
*whimper* I still remember Hall... TTTT I miss that guy.

I loved this! I feel for poor Short Stack. She got all banged up for doing her job. Leave it to one of the 'trouble makers' to direct her on how to get out. Funnier still; they bet on it.
