Here we have an other beautifull story of yours. And I do call it a story.
I like the insight you're granting the reader and I again I have to compliment on your ability to catch the essence of the characters. Well done =)

Oh...wow...that was just...wow. I'm speechless! Brilliantly written, so very, very true, and just...quite moving, really. I loved it, I really did. Especially this part - 'He had a family. A wife named Enterprise, four hundred or so assorted children, and two brothers to help him care for them.' An excellent story, thanks for sharing.

OMG adorable. It's a bit farther this side of sap than my normal taste but I love it anyway. "Duels or possession or diseases or accidents..." They do get into every conceivable scrape, don't they? I really like Kirk and Spock sympathizing with each other: "Little brothers. What can you do?" and lots of other lines... It's all so warm-fuzzy-making.

As I indicated in my review of your other story, I have been a fan of Star Trek since 1966. My favorite has been, and still is, Leonard McCoy.
Thank you for this beautifully written character study. It is refreshing-and rare-to see the contemplative, quiet part of James Kirk. You did him credit...you captured his voice.
Even better, you showed us the depth of his love and concern for his friend and brother, Leonard McCoy (who was also well captured).
The 'big three' are definitely safe in your hands. I hope we will see more of your fine writing in the Star Trek universe.

Aw... Very well done. Your Kirk is very reflective and McCoy is just perfect. You've captured them very well.
Keep up the good work!
