I love it when stories have more than one interpretation. I had to go back and read it from the beginning, and doing that, I just realized why there was such an emphasis on sounds and spatial senses. Ha ha. Awesome.
I hope after you finish "Embers" you won't lost interest in this. Because, epic as "Embers" is, I can see this becoming another Big One too. So awesome.

I hope the "eventually" comes soon, but to be honest, for such an intriguing concept and from such a fantastic author, I would wait years.

I know you are tied up with Embers, which I am pleased to say I am addicted to, but I can not wait for you to take this and run with it like you did Theft Absolute. It makes me want to send you baskets and baskets of chocolate chip cookies just thinking that you will turn this little plot bunny into another masterful swirl of pain and anger wrapped in the joy and awe of new discovery that you print so well that you are no longer reading but living the story. And having read your separate pieces several times I have faith that you will have the grace of imagination to create from this one-shot, which just drips potential by the way, a unique and full bodied story that will not essentially be an Embers rewrite just with slight differences. Again, I love your work and may the spirit of inspiration never be far from you. hugs
