Hate to be a finicky pain but I take it you meant "shallow breathing" and not "swallow breathing"? That aside (because I make typos all the time so it's all okay, I just have an itch to point them out lol) this was great! I've really been looking forward to an update - and I love that you've got Fergus in (#1 Fergus fan, right here hehe). I really like how you have her saying the words at the Joining like others would say the Chant.
Can't wait for the next update :D Looking forward to Amelie being well again ^_^

Had to read the first few parts a couple times for the POV change to sink in, the whole first paragraph I was imagining Amélie instead of Teagen... wierd, but anyway, I'm enjoying the change of pace, but I was so anxious to find out just what the hell happened at the end of ch.2. *Excited for the next chapter*

Omg I love it - Teagan doesn't get nearly enough love in the DA:O fandoms, so I'm really glad to find this! On top of that, I love the way you write, and AU you've created. Can't wait to read more, hope you update soon!
