No, it's not his real name, it's from spin-off novels which have since been contradicted by the television series. The Master is really Q? Doubtful, since the Master first appeared in 1971.

I don't think I have ever read a better Doctor who/Star Trek crossover. Most of the crossovers have the Time Lords being superior to the Q, or the Q being superior to the Time Lords. It's a nice change to have them as equals. And that Q is a 'sane' Master was a great touch.

A very creative blending of the two series. Loved the explanation for Vash. It really made no sense in the series for Q to take her, so this is going in my personal canon. ^_^

This was quite interesting.

I haven't read any fanfiction that has an in depth description of the Doctor's time sense. Somehow I never made the connection between Q and the Doctor and I think that I like it.

Really love this story, always love stores where Q meets the Doctor, and finally love reading something where The Doctor meets a life form which is even higher than his own. I would love to see more Star Trek/Who crossovers where the Doctor meets Q.

Reference to Vash at the end is very nice as well.

This is a very interesting story. Although I couldn't appreciate all the details since I am not very good in the ancient Time Lord history I enjoyed it very much. Thanks.
