I really like this and I hope you update this soon! Who is Kana going to end up with Shin or Uchi or Kuro? It's been two years since you updated so I hope you continue :(

I like this story and I like Kana. It sticks very closely to cannon, but maybe after episode 12 you can really start to branch out with Kana. I check regularly to see if the story has been updated and when you said that Kana would take on a stronger role, I was excited. I think you rushed through her story with Kuro quite a bit and 'told' the story instead of 'showing' their friendship. Do you remember how in the episode, Uchi and Shin told Yankumi that they were good friends with Kuro, but could you believe their words until after Kurosaki had flashbacks of arguing over who got to eat the meat, or ditching school to sleep on the roof?

I'm not saying of course that you must use flashbacks, but I think you should 'show' what sort of a relationship that they have/once had. Think about the possibilities: What sort of games did they play as kids? Did they give each other nicknames? Where they close enough to finish each others sentences? Did they ever argue and about what? Did they remain good friends in school? What are the origins of these keepsake necklaces that they both wore? What drove them apart even though they were best friends? Make me believe that Kana is worried about Kuro, her childhood friend.

You have at least one more chapter with Kurosaki so I hope you take full advantage of Kana's potential.

How did I get into Gokusen? Back in my high school Japanese class, my friend brought the drama on a dvd and we watched it during class a few times. Like a nutty fangirl *sighs ;), I went home later and downloaded the entire drama. My class loved it, especially the little Yakuza moments. We all often joked with our teacher, asking if she would ever protect us from bad guys like Yankumi. "Of course!" She'd exclaim ;)

I got into Japanese dramas after a trip to Japan. Hanakimi was my first drama, but Gokusen is one of my absolute favorites. I'm not gonna lie, I love Oguri Shun and Jun Matsumoto, but the characters in the show are why I can watch the show over and over again. Never read the manga though I probably should...

I'm waiting for an update so please post another chapter soon!

Yay! Update! College can really be time consuming, not to mention normal life as well, so it's understandable to take time to write the next chapter.

Glad to know that Kana will have more interactions with the rest! Maybe add in more events, or problems other characters face for Yankumi and class 3D to solve it together? Since graduation seems to be reaching soon =w= (Unless you wish to end this story earlier)

Yuuta is also my favourite episode in the drama! Cause it was really fun to see him bond with the class. Can't wait to see how it progress~ Can't really say much since Kana hardly interact with others much.

Can't wait to read more! This story is really good and I really wish to see how this story is going to develop for Shun, Kana & Uchi (Not to mention all the friendship bonding too!) I just love all these filler chapters
