could you change the name back to just master chief? I like it better that way, more mysterious then the name of the subway spokesmen. otherwise its a good fic thumbs up!

I ain't gonna lie, amigo-that wasn't very good. BUT-and here's the important thing-everybody sucks for a long time before they get good. My stuff at the beginning was so bad I can't even stand to read it any more. Just keep at it, and don't pay any attention to people who tell you to stop. Those are the fools who never WILL be able to write well.
The story itself was too short to say much about, and as for a plot, it was uninspired to say the least. Try thinking outside of just battles, and weave something more intricate into the action. Marines, BTW, are a decent brand of Talking Wallpaper, but it's good karma to have some character development as well.
Finally, I think a few other people mentioned this, but the Master Chief DOES have a name. They use it plenty in 'The Fall of Reach'-John 116. It's never so much as hinted at in the game, so adding a disclaimer might be a wise idea if you want to avoid every person who reads this thing telling you that you're wrong.
