Awesome story! I absolutely love it! It's going to be pretty interesting when the Master returns, but random question- When does this all take place? Like, where did this fic diverge from the canon timeline?

Glad to see the journies continue, Rani does really have a lot to learn about being the Doctor's companion.

This...this was just brilliant! The whole chapter was simply fantastic!
But I think my absolute favorite bit was at the end, where Sarah Jane warns the Rani to not let the Doctor down. Although, I'm sure if she allows herself, she'll start wondering just what Sarah Jane thinks the Doctor sees in her. Well, other than being the only other Time Lord in the universe. And won't that be an interesting line of thought for the Mengele of the Time Lords to follow? ;)
*sporfle!* The Doctor quoted Tolkien...who ripped his dialogue off from the Doctor!
And if the Rani can ever understand why the Doctor makes friends with humans even though they'll die so soon to him...well. It'll be interesting, and that's all I'll guess at :D

Great to see more of this, and did get a bit choked up with Sarah there, Liz Sladen was a class act imo, one of a kind in the Who series, that made me wish she'd been able to go further than she did in the original series.

Good finishing off of Sarah Jane's wedding.
Finally the Rani told the Doctor off for his martyrdom complex. That annoys me. He sacrifices himself and then what? Who is left to save the day?
The Doctor so hates it when someone insults his precious TARDIS. I think the Rani does it just to get a reaction.
Gotta love Peter for his choice as sad as it is. Humanity at its best.
Sarah expects the Rani to be the one to pull the Doctor back? Um...yeah. Don't think so.
Great chapter. Look forward to what other travels the Doctor and the Rani go on.

Good section here, and enjoyed the Rani and Doctor's banter with each other, and will look forward to how Big R and little r will get on with each other as well.

God i love the interplay between the Doctor and the Rani. You nail it so perfectly.
Loved the fact you made the effort to take a moment to deal with the 2 Ranis and that the Rani actually went as far as to test and see whether this was a future her or not...LOL!
Though the Doctor really did need to haul the Rani aside and scold her for being so cold around the frightened kids. Perfectly in keeping with our favourite Time Lord.
So no TARDIS. Just 3 kids and a tin dog. No wonder the Rani is contemplating throwing herself into oblivion.
Great chapter! Update soon.

Oh goodness, where to begin? I'd been hoping to see them take on Victorian London, but Sarah-Jane is awesome too.
Love the snark and interplay between the Doctor and the Rani - again, you have them down perfectly. :)
I'm amused at the Rani concealing a scanning device in a compact...but somehow I never expected her to have a Sonic Lipstick. Screwdriver, yes, lipstick no. Unless she's simply being practical and hiding it in plain sight...
Oh dear me, the Rani meets Rani - that made me laugh, her scanning to make sure she wasn't having a timeline-crossing moment. :D And that was very Doctor to haul her aside and scold her for being so cold.
No TARDIS, just the Doctor, three meddling kids and a tin dog...no wonder the Rani was trying to get away from it all :P
