I would simply like to say that "Catcher in the Rye" is one of the most horrible books I have ever read, but hearing the reference you made to it made me laugh so hard my parents thought I was asphyxiating. I don't even know why I thought it was funny!
Anyways, I love this story so far, and hope to finish reading it sometime tonight! :D

Ah It's so funny how Fuji just keeps talking. I really love 'im in this chapter This ending is pretty good though it took awhile to catch on...(yeah, I'm slow)

Loved this ending - it was a bit sad, but also a lot of perfection. The entire story was beautiful, and I loved the way Ryoga is here - such a good big brother! This story was awesome!

I loved this.
I really like the way that you portrayed Ryoma. Usually I can't really imagine hem having serious famiily problem, to me it always seems that his personality just doesn't really fit the deal but in this story it showed me a completely different side of him and you still kept him in character.
You are an amazing writer, one of the few I find on this site. Keep writing, God knows you're good at it :)

To put in a slightly artistic terms, I felt my heart in my throat while reading this. The last chapters made me quite depressed on Ryoma's behalf, but this chapter really made me want to curl up in a corner and cry.
I love Ryoma's determination and his love for his mother. Ryoma's life really makes me wish that he had gone to Seigaku instead though. The Seigaku guys would've pretty much barged into his life (not necessarily a good thing) and try to help him. And they would probably succeed, even a little bit. But then again, if everything comes too easy, it would be less interesting, huh? *sobs* I hate dilemmas like this... And uh, sorry for ranting.

Okay, I read this some months ago and didn't review because I was reading it on my phone. But now I can finally review this story. I stayed up till four in the morning on a school night just to finish reading this fantastic fanfiction. Usually I'd read stories with pairings in them, but yours was absolutely too tempting for me to not read. And so I read. And I read, and I read. I fell in love with this fanfic. Your characterization was spot-on. Yukimura scared me. I felt so bad for Ryoma. I felt so much love and gratitude for Seigaku for saving Ryoma. I truly felt that the real victim was Kirihara here since he had no one to save him. But ugh, such a great story. I thank you for writing such a beautiful Ryoma-centric fic. And thank goodness for Fuji! I would read this again, but I don't think I can deal with all the angst and Ryoma getting hurt. My heart can't take it. And I'm a Thrill Pair fan, so I just pretend there's something going on between Fuji and Ryoma even though I know there isn't. Thank you again for such a lovely story! You have talent.

i cant be too sure if there was Sanada bashing but i know that was definitely Yukimura bashing, i know he was a bitch at first but at least he got better . this was pretty good but if i was ryoma i woulda kicked Sanada's and Yukimura's asses literally

I shall declare this shamelessly: this was a wonderful piece of writing that had me crying more than once. Seriously, crying-not just tearing :O
The story was vague, but I feel that was what made it lucid. It holds a degree of depth that bought me to tears numerous times; the emotions that was perfectly depicted, and not exaggerated, was simple yet effective. Hence the reason why I cried like, six times :'D
Not to mention, the touch of humor :D was well strategically put.
