Aw... I'm not sure why you didn't like this chapter that much, but I thought it was really good. I loved the whole story, thank you very much for sharing it with me... (although some chapter endings, esp when you left us uncertain of 'certain' people's survival, made me want to throw things.) Nicely done, and well written. :D

I thought for sure Roper was going to be uncovered as the mole, or at least involved with him. You sure surprised me. Great action and dialogue in this chapter. Don't be disappointed with the ending. You had to end it somehow, can't drag it out forever. Endings are extremely difficult to come up with. Yours is fine!
One thing that helps me is thinking of an ending at the beginning of the story and working my way towards that.

I'm worried about Gibbs, though. Sounds like he's losing it. Is he gonna get in trouble for killing the guy; especially the way he did it? (Love my Gibbs angst) Wonder what Kort will think when he finds out.

NO! Fuck Roper! That is just cruel! Why does the government do that? Gibbs would never tell anyone! Please don't let Gibbs do anything stupid! Please let Kort come back all right! Please! I hope they will be all right when Kort comes home... Gibbs will feel like he's been lied to. I just don't want to see either one of them hurt any more than they already are. Please post the next chapter. Please! I want to know what happens! Please please please don't let Kort get hurt again. Or let Gibbs hurt himself. And don't make Gibbs' team too mad at Kort if he makes it back. They might want to hate him for hurting their boss. Agh!

OMG! OMG! OMG! Here I thought things were winding down, now this happens! I'm glad you let us know that Kort's death was fake. I think it would have been too much for us to think he was dead *and* feeling Gibbs angst about it. And what a fine job of angst you wrote! I don't think it's too OOC for Gibbs to consider suicide. He wanted to after Shannon and Kelly were killed, it went through his mind again after Kate was killed and he kept hearing her accusing voice. Just glad he still feels the need to struggle with it and not just give in.

Glad Tony got to Trent in time! Nice job Tony did of convincing Trent that Gibbs did love him. Absolutely wonderful scene with Gibbs and Trent! Been waiting for that and you handled it beautifully.
Hopefully Trent is getting past the worst of his hurting so he can be happy with Gibbs.

Ok, that last chapter SCARED me. I was so afraid Trent was going to die. So, so afraid. This chapter was a really nice way to expand on and change the perspective of the last event in the previous chapter. I just have one comment, Gibbs left Tony and Gibbs' house. How did Tony know to go to Trent's apartment? Apart from that, this was awesome. I really like your style of writing. It's not over-the-top, but it's descriptive and emotional. Until next time! :D

This whole story is very dark - perhaps that's why there aren't more reviews? Despite the darkness, you have done an excellent job of capturing the emotions of a rape victim. Poor Kort really is alone. I don't think Gibbs could deal with Trent having killed himself, but I'm sure you have something up your sleeve. Can't wait to see what it is.
