Another masterpiece...
There's something about how you portrayed Hermione in this that really intrigued me. I think it's the way you make her so clueless, and only focusing on Ron that she forgets about Snape. It's really quite sad, but I like how you wrote it like that.
This whole thing was very tragic. But the real sadness of it didn't really hit me until I read the ending a few times over again.
"She screamed. She screamed for hours. And even years later, deep inside, where no one could hear, she still screamed."
That was just amazing. Beautiful and devastating.

I've reread this so many times and i keep crying over it. I just. It hurts so badly. What you wrote for him to do, to become and that tiny glimpse of hope before snuffing it out...I won't forget this fic.

I'm having conflicting emotions right now; on one side, the ending was perfect, on the other, I'm heartbroken she didn't end up with him. But like I said, it had a realistic ending , even if it was a little confusing at first. Anyways, I'm off to read more of your amazing stories.

Loved it. Not enough writers are willing to take stories down the doomy gloomy path, but this fic proves that a short, haunting, sad story can have as big of, if not greater, an impact as a "all's-well-in-Snapeyland" epic.

I put off reading this story for a very long time. I've read everything else you've written, most of them multiple times, but I was terrified of reading the sad ending. And then I did something stupid and read it in public. I am so emotional but trying very hard not to cry that I've ended up dizzy and nauseaus. I don't know whether I should thank you or hate you. The only piece of happiness I have is knowing that I can choose to pretend he didn't die, just like I choose to pretend he didn't die in DH. I know with certainty that this story is going to stick with me for a while, that I will be thinking about it as I try to fall asleep tonight. If success is measured by emotional response, then this is the very best SSHG I've ever read. Congratulations.
