Some would call me perverse, but thank you so very much for this.
It's so very beautiful, and so very, very sad, and sometimes sad is what we need. You portrayed all the characters, but especially Snape, to perfection within the premise.

Oh my word... wonderful. I was thinking Hunchback of Notre Dame as I read the end of the first chapter (that film - the old version not the silly disney version always made me cry) and I foolishly read the second chapter... Argh I need to go away now and eat some chocolate before I burst into tears again. Seriously good writing. I never cry at books and certainly not fanfiction... Sorry if I've just ruined the ending for anyone...

How incredibly sad. Very moving, very painful! Nice writing, brings back the aching sting of unrequited love in a serious setting. Great story.
