This is fun. You address something that in the back of our minds, we all knew could happen, but didn't want to think about. And in that, there's poetry in the idea. Frankly, however, the execution could use a bit more work, but it's good, none the less. The mix of serious and fun is also well placed and Shizu and Izaya's interactions are a lot of fun to watch.

THIS IS SO FREAKING GOOD. I love how you portray both Izaya and Shizuo, and especially Izaya not wanting to be pitied by anyone! I can really picture it being so!
And Shizuo. So lovely of him. ;_;

Oh this looks interesting, I can't really see where it's going but I'm definitely intrigued! :)
Your portrayal of the characters rings true, especially the small gestures between Celty and Shinra are wonderful, you captured the traits that make them so very adorable. Of course, pissed-off-Izaya is always fun and his reaction to Shizuo's behavior (annoyance, knife-stabbing) is entertaining. I also like the bits of insight into his feelings concerning loosing his arm, like how he thinks that Shizuo must have realized how easy it would be to get to him while sleeping; I'd also imagine him not to be too concerned about the wound itself (or at least not admitting that to himself) but simply hating what it would imply about his own weakness and that that would be worsened by any sympathy and pity he would receive from others, especially of course from Shizu-chan...
Ah, there's so much conflict potential and that combined with the violent nature of these guys... x'D I honestly can't wait to see their next encounter! Thanks for sharing this interesting story. :D
