My, your story is *so cute*. Adorable, really. One thing I think it could use would be a bit more of a story ark - you know, a problem they have to sort out and an ending that puts them in a different place than they started in. Beyond that, their dialogue (and thoughts!) are witty, snappy, sharp, and brilliant. Your characterization is spot on, and I just love your story. But I'm really only repeating myself, haha.

Ha, I just LOVE Death and when he tries to understand humans. And chess. He's adorable. I'd love him to be my Grandfather LOL. (Not that I don't like my own grandfather.)
