Oh, this was just so painful and beautiful, and my hearts hurts for Ian.
My everything hurts for Ian, actually, you captured his grief and loss really well. Poor Ian, so determined to get home, to not be the one to die and leave Alex. And his love for John and Helen, and just, ouch. Everywhere.

Oh my god...wow. That was amazing. It was just so powerful and emotion provoking...wow! And you characterized Ian absolutely perfectly. Wonderfully heartbreaking, especially the end. Loved it!
