Couldn't resist the urge to just catch up already.

I honestly didn't know whether Emeralde was going to turn good or stay bad up until the very end. Things usually default to the status quo, and it seemed a bit sudden for a real heel face turn, but the interactions with Master Chie were great. I think Emeralde's projecting onto Anya, though: blaming her didn't make that much logical sense, but high emotions and logic don't mix well anyway.

Finally, Anya and Walter advancing (or trying to, at any rate. What with Emeralde almost turning good thanks to a real human relationship, Walter's got precedent).

Koji was a cool, powerful villain, and the part where he played Takuya was tense, nobody acting stupidly oblivious. It's about time Cindy got to really use the Pegasus Summoner and Zord!

A lot of fun in both of these chapters-of course Wendy would try to upgrade household appliances!-particularly the Halloween chapter. Matt, Jeremy and Cindy can sing? Cool!

Wow! The Kalask twist was perfect-I didn't see it coming, but it made perfect sense once it had. Matt and Takuya's interplay was great, I love a good villain base invasion, and on top of the awesome we've got a good dose of heartwarming with Matt and Mai reunited, and Mai with her parents. Got to admit, I'm a little glad Takuya didn't turn this into a love triangle (or at least, not a stereotypical one), I'm curious where that situation will go. Matt was awesome, taking on Kalask and then turning his game back on him. Tem-Tar's overstepped his bounds, I think.

Kind of like Reality Quake, that was another fun chapter, with the callbacks still forwarding the story. Nice to see the characters pick up on Anya and Takuya's commonalities (and the locked-in-a-closet bit kind of felt like a callback to past Rangers itself, so yay parallels), and Venja "adjusting" to the new status quo. All of the character interactions were really fun, and Wendy's gotten very good at being awesome without stealing the spotlight from the other characters. These glimpses into Anya make me look forward to seeing her cut loose completely someday, probably when Futuro's prophecy comes into play.

Incidentally, I love the title of this chapter.

Winters' transformation (physical and otherwise) was great, and Kalask is going back into the top villain place smoothly by interfering this way. Interesting bit for Agent Q, and I love Wendy and Jake's battle banter. I hadn't noticed the parallel between Anya and Wendy, both living in the shadow of an obsessive villain, that's neat.

(Dunno if it's just me, but there seemed to be a lot of spelling mistakes this time around. *Shrug*)

Looking forward to seeing where Venja's story goes, and how the Rangers deal with Kalask as their main threat once more. Thank you!

I just want to say this is the most awesome story Ive seen

That was a lot of fun, and it made for a great crossover. The canon Rangers all worked great, the character moments between Jane and Cyber V were varied and fun, and no team or character dominated anyone else. It's always fun seeing Wendy's fangirl side, and the alternate realities as in-jokes were effective; even though I hadn't read the fics in question (or have more than a passing knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh!), I understood what was going on. Plus I have a soft spot for alternate universes anyway.

See, that's why I can't seem to keep my hands off Jane. When written by anyone who isn't PLR, she's got a lot of potential as a character, even with her Sue-ish situation.

Thank you, that was a fun break after Horizon War!

WOOHOO!

Ahem.

The deaths went really well, having some real weight despite not lasting long, and it really shows just how far Kalask will go in his game. Tornado/Takuya's redemption was great. All of the fights were varied and interesting, and I have the feeling there's going to be a lot of fallout from this three-parter yet to come. Saving Alpha made me go "aw," it really shows that Wendy's improved, but she's still a Ranger fangirl. Jake and Wendy are a great couple, the wedding at the end really balances out all the fighting and danger. Seems kind of ironic that there were so few documented civilian casualties here. I've never seen another bad guy as developed and flexible and awesomely twisted as Kalask. Most bad guys, particularly fanfic bad guys, are evil guys locked in their base plotting, period. His punishment for Winters is absolutely perfect.

Thank you! Now for the hard part . . .

Everyone was awesome, especially Sauder and Matt. Wendy's climb may actually be my favorite scene in any Power Rangers fanfic: it was PERFECT.

Cool! The training sequences were hilarious (and the mention of the bill for the resources), and the Pegasus Summoner awesome. Don't think I've seen a multi-use battlizer before this, it's a neat and very logical idea. I hadn't realized it until now, but the Rangers would assume Thrak was their main enemy after Kalask, since they've barely seen what Tem-Tar can do. I'd probably have gone with a name like PorcuPain. Probably still stupid, but at least punny.

Great use of Winters; the fight and tension are escalating wonderfully. Cruger's really showing off why he's such a great mentor, too, both on and off the field. And of course, some promising developments for Wendy. (Though in all of these cases, I feel sort of supervillainous, complimenting how well you're torturing the character.) This chapter reminds me of the Lightspeed/Galaxy crossover, but I think what that should have been; Kotoha does her job, but doesn't steal screen time away from an awesome team-up battle.

Great introduction: Tornado's got a lot of cool toys and a loner streak that makes Matt look like a social butterfly. I'm intrigued by this Kyubi thing. Man, it never rains but it pours: first Alphabet Soup, now this guy. Kalask's never going to get his pure game back.

Okay, normally I would compliment the way you used Futuro's powers, and how Jeremy worked out a way around them, or the new angle of "what do we do afterwards?", or the tension of that last scene, but the second-to-last has rendered me incapable of much more than "aaaaawwww!"

(One review for both chapters, to be more efficient.)

Neat parallel between Daniel and Mai. Jeremy's fake-out was brilliant, and Tem-Tar's original plan pretty clever, too-Kalask might even be pleased if it has a lasting effect on Anya, makes her more of a challenge.

Wait, I thought Munch was the one who killed Anya's parents, not Dreads. Also, by the way, a lot of the recent references to Mai call her Ami.

Again, awesome use of older parts of the show and good introduction to the concept (I haven't actually seen the original episode). Neat twist, affecting Jake this way. I've seen this sort of thing for when people split themselves into good-evil halves, but not this way, and I like it muchly. Mindscape is also a cool "monster."

An entire rack of Z-Wave Generators . . . well, I guess a good plan is a good plan? Can't believe I'm saying this, but go Kalask, get rid of that cheating Alphabet Soup!

So many feels!

You were right, this was a lot of fun, and it was nice to see Walter get some time in the spotlight. Like Matt, he tends to be overshadowed by his teammates. The dark consequences of Youthinizer helped make this still tie into the overall mood.

Also, happy -893rd birthday, Jake!

Weird contrast; everyone and their grandma picks on Hellion for being stupidly misogynistic, nobody bothers about Emeralde failing at the whole "assassin" thing-not even someone dishonorable like Tem-Tar or possibly Thrak. Also I thought it was Tem-Tar's fault Anya escaped. Emeralde's obsession is kind of coming out of nowhere.

Fun character interactions again, and some neat new attacks, but the misogynist thing started straying into preachy territory. Then again, it's are a pet peeve of mine, so maybe it's just me.
