Its a good story, as prev mentioned by a few, it's not everyday you see a GC-era story. Though im surprised you set the Blood Angels here and with ron of all people.

Excellent job with merging these two story line. I really think you've got the start of an amazing story I can't wait to see more. But even the might of the astarts pales in comparison to the great devourer.

Great chapter. Looks like its all about to hit the fun. I can't help but wonder how kim will fare against the legion.
keep it up. Will any of the other characters be making an appearance? If so id like to throw in a vote for bonnie as a remembrancer who has an unhealthy crush on ron.

Great start to the story, I cannot wait for the next part.
You have me wondering not only what's going to happen when they meet, but also about the planet itself, what secrets it may hold and will Kim side with the great Crusade in the end.

Nicely done story and rather interesting- Ron as a Space Marine- no matter how many martial arts Kim knows that's not gonna be a fair fight...
But, on the other hand, Kim may have some things up her sleeve as well...

An absolutely amazing begining. Kudos. There was the odd word choice here and there but nothing too distracting.
The heresy is an amazing backdrop to this story. I only wonder what path this fic will take. IE. a romance set in a harsh time or a galaxy spanning epic with universal implications?
The way you described Sanguinis was masterfull. I look forward to seeing how all this unfolds.

Heh, better watch out though. While I am a full supporter of the God-Emperor (RAVEN GUARD!), I know of some Chaos worshiping snakes in the grass around here.

I'm interested to see where this is going, as I've been a Warhammer 40K fan for the past 13 years. Ron as a Blood Angels captain, that's a surprise. I'm also curious to see if this story will get the two of them caught up in the events of the Horus Heresy.

Unusual. Not many fics out there about the Great Cursades, its good to see a change. Unfortunatly I don't know a lot about the begining of 40k, I've only read a couple of books, but I understand enough. I'm quite surprised that you put Kim on the 'other side' of these cursades, and I'm wondering is Ron going to be with her, or is he a guardsmen?
Anyway can't wait to read more!
