and there are tears rolling down his face that she realizes she's never seen nor witnessed before...sniff, HUG him Alex!
"I came here to help you." She finally says...GOOD.
Bobby just stands there, stunned for a minute as he feels her wrap her arms around his back and squeeze...thank you.
"Its okay, Bobby, I won't break."...too funny.

Excellent fic. I used to be an avid L&O:CI watcher but kinda fell out of it and by the time I started to come back, my favorite team was only on half the time. I think you captured their partnership well, though, from what I remember. Great job.

Oh, this was just right! I thought you captured their voice as on the show very well and I can totally see this as a missing scene. Very nice job!

Very sweeet and touching. It did not need any "M" activities because it was about Alex being brave and compassionate enough to step across that darn boundary, and Bobby being brave enough to allow her to comfort him. I was glad to see that Alex was very intune with Bobby, even enough to recognize that he thought she was going to drop him off at his place. Good job Alex!

i thought this was really good,the emotional aspect was,beautiful,very real.i love to get into a story that i can get lost in,it shows me the signs and talents of a brilliant writer.well done...:)

You're welcome! I'm enjoying this story a lot. Bobby has never had a person he could truly lean on, so he is learning to accept unselfish comfort. And fortunately he's a fast learner.

Poor Bobby has never had the luxury of having someone to lean on. Eames, on the other hand, has a significant extended family and, at one time, a husband.
Eame's surprise at his tears is due to her absence during her partner's final encounter with his biological father.
