Again, a good chapter showing the psychological stress that living a lie is bound to have on Selim. Short but intense. However, if there was a way he could talk to his mother about what was happening, without anyone else listening in ... he's going to have to talk about it some time, or he risks losing control. I hope he'll be okay.

I loved how Selim just broke and started crying in this chapter it shows that he is not all evil. Gah! I love this story so much but I just wish so bad that Selim had a love interest! Update soon!

It might have been a short chapter, but I liked it. It was interesting to see how difficult Selim's transition to being back home, among the guards, really was. You had hinted as such in previous chapters, but seeing it here really drove the point home.
Considering all the strange things that have been happening to Selim, I half-expected Shadow to *answer* Selim when he questioned her! I know, just a paranoid half-hope on my part that Selim might not be the only homunculus left ...
Anyway, best of luck on NaNoWriMo! I've never participated myself - the timing is just *terrible* for anyone in school (finals!) or working retail (that holiday that must not be named). They really should reschedule it for January or March, or some other boring month.

This chapter had a bit of a "filler" feel to it, but it was necessary. It's definately important for your story that Selim sorts out his feelings about what he's learned about himself in Risenbool before he got home.
A ten hour train trip? Wow. Either Amestris is bigger than I thought, or their trains are kind of slow.
