I'm glad you're still continuing this story! It had to take me awhile to read the previous chapters to remember what happened because it seemed so long ago that you last updated. Finally, Maria has the guts to tell him the truth! And Fayt, when is he going to be coherent again?

it's been a long time since I've had a chance to read this story, but holy crap! I re-read the entire thing in a couple of hours to get caught up. The way you write the characters is really incredible. Sophia, Maria, Cliff-everyone gets so much depth and background, not to mention Fayt and Albel. Fayt is so awesome in this story-strong, conflicted, and confused at the same time. I'm so glad you're updating this story, and I can't wait to read the next chap! :)

I love how Albel would still behave rashly like he always does to everybody to Fayt. That smack on the head is epic. I wonder what would happen next.

I sat here and read all posted chapters today. This is one of the best Star Ocean 3 pieces that I've read in a while. I really enjoy all the tension and the build up and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for the readers before this is all over.

Not much I have to say in this chapter, but you're doing great! I'm relieved that you're starting to pick up the pace of your updates.

I've become more firm in the belief that I'll hang around until you finish this story, no matter how long it takes! ;)

Hola, newbie reader in here who wants to share some of her information.

I read the review and your comment to it about Albel's hand and all these years I've thought same about it as you. Not because I like Albel not being handicapped but because Elicoor's civilisation is around 1600's so prothesis as mobile as Albel's just cannot be yet invented. Our first prothesis that actually worked came out in 1590 and even then the guy could only take the cup into his hand and make small things with it. Nowadays handicapped people can do a lot of things (even fighting is possible to some extend) and even those came out at least in 1900's. So I myself could see that Albel still has some part of his fingers and especially muscle to make fighting work. We can see that Albel has at least 15-20cm of his hand still ok before the scarred starts. His hand might be torn to a just ugly branch that used to be a hand and needs the artificial hand to be used as a normal hand does.

All this information comes from a person who is dating a archaeologist AND drawing an A/F comic and had to do a lot of base research. My partner keeps annoying me if I don't do things work right. :)

About the fanfiction itself, I think yours is the best I've read in a long, long time. You don't make Fayt look like a innocent, stupid and ridiculously in love with Albel which makes me want to kill myself. Fayt is an adult with a bad history and not an teenager who has everything on a gold platter from his parents. It's sad how little writers keep remembering that while Albel has a bad memories, Fayt has it worse; he has FRESH bad memories along with a power that he shouldn't really be able to use since there's no manual or Dummies -guide to it.

Your Albel is beautiful to read too, you make him look like Albel Nox should be; there's a real person with real reasoning and feelings underneath it all. I loved to the bits the moments with Peppita because it show us Albel's while not a caring side but the side that we rarely see anywhere: he knows hot to mingle with people, he just does it differently.

It took me a bit to get used to your style of writing (the spaces and such) but the more I read I got used to it and I think it suits very well this fanfiction.
