Finally finished reading this epic tale.
While I don't get the timeline during the epilogue, I assume it's really distant future as the names of locations have changed or been added in the scene with Galet and Meri.
You also lost me with the child with magic powers and Minder whoever he was.
While I do get who the boy who found Shiva is.
I must say you write this very well and it's damn epic! I enjoyed reading the fight between Quistis and Diablos with her blue magic full steam ahead! I wished she never had to die though but I guess that's the point of creating tragedy.
I wish you more readers and reviewers as this deserves to be a very popular and well loved story. I liked how real you made it with tragedies, casualties and actually having quite a bit of time pass by during the story so kudos to that. While I kind of wished for there to be a final fight scene between the gang and Bahamut I guess the ending was just as filled with suspense.
Question though before I end off. How is it that the gang could kill Omega who has ALL THAT MAGIC in him while the other humans have so much trouble with Diablos? The worldshells and Espers and Bahamut too? Oh well. Loved it while it lasted!

This story is amazing! And very underrated! The large number of chapters and OCs may scare people off and it's a shame. Neither of which bring the story down. I love the solid plot and unexpected twists, especially is this chapter. You've got the characterizations and emotions down perfectly. I'm left wanting more after each chapter, and your now daily updates bring me much joy. I'm almost certain that one you complete this epic story, I'll be re-reading again from the beginning because it's that fullfilling.
I'm mostly a lurker and read and not review, but it seemed like credit wasn't being given though you have greatly earned it. Keep writing and thank you for this amazing read.

Oops, six months blew by somehow. Anyway, I love the beginning of this story. Your original characters always seem to fit in well. And Almas punched Squall in the face. How's that for a curve ball. Looking forward to seeing where this goes as always. Hopefully I don't get distracted for another six months. I've got some catching up to do.

I think it's really good so far, I haven't read all of it because I've started reading things slowly because I usually read way too fast and forget it lol.
I actually like Almas, I thought I wouldn't but so far she's cool. At one part it seemed fitting for them to even have a relationship, but I guess that's just me ^.^ I was also wondering what you thought of my own fic, if you have time. I'm not advertising, I just thought it's more efficient for other FFVIII author's to share their opinions, because we're all writing the same thing -.- I'll keep watch anyway :D

I noticed that this story isn't getting many reviews, and I think that's a shame because I'm really enjoying it, but I read from my cell phone and reviewing is difficult. Still, I'm going to try. Your writing flows well and the characters are near spot-on, which is hard to find these days, plus a unique story. I can't wait to see how it goes!
