and as for your authors note: I was EXACTLY the same way! I was giddy and freakin bouncing off the wall! Then the end killed it for me. It freakin murdered it. I haven't watched the reruns since the original. I was going to try and write an alternate version or something where Velma wasn't the bad guy (I didn't like that part). Cartoon network is just killing scooby doo for me

Hey! I've read this story and your last one. I'm huge on grammar, but I can go easy on you because the plot was well-done :D
ALSO! I totally agree with you on Curse of the Lake Monster! btw, Velma was played by Hayley Kiyoko, not Kaylie or however you spell her name. But your idea about a live action series probably won't work- the actor playing Fred is in a Nick show and Kiyoko is in a band AND working on a Disney movie called Lemon Mouth. But I'd go to heaven if that ever happened

Still loving the story, though. Yes, I was disheartened by last week's episode, but I'm kind of hoping that Velma gets in some kind of terrible danger and Shaggy realizes how much he can't live without her and takes her back and it's all very romantic and happy.
In the meantime, I will continue reading all of your work. Love it and can't wait for the next chapter!

Wow, that was an unexpected twist. Hope the police get to Alexis first as I wouldn't want to be in her shoes if Velma get's there first. The next chapter is going to be very interesting.

Looking forward to seeing how these tensions play out as the story unfolds. Auditions...? Could be innocent, could be a trap.
