Most intriguing. I'm very interested in seeing how the Razac incident turns out.
Also, for Aragon's benefit, Occam 's Razor states that the hypothesis making the fewest new assumptions is typically best.

"What are you going to do?" Was that a reference to the Allstate car insurance ad where the married couple takes their daughter's fish and eats it as sushi?
Either way, I feel sorry for Aragon, getting blackmailed by the one person who knows him almost as well (if not better than) he knows himself.

To say that I'm intrigued would be like saying the space shuttle uses a little bit of rocket fuel.
I'm interested in this 'Wilde'; most people with a name sounding like wild end up living (or dying) defined by that name.
(A certain 'Wylde' comes to mind here...)

OK, I FINALLY got around to reading this. Here's some heavy duty concrit, which should please not be considered a flame.
You've got great description, and have a knack for words in general "Gods, I love lazy builders." is a highlight, as was Jesse just gazed ahead, acutely aware that his fate hung in the balance, and the knowledge was like a miniature sun polarized above the gate." However, your grammar needs serious work. Get the book "The Least You Should Know About English", or any other grammar book. You overuse commas (I'm guilty of that sin as well, but if you like I can PM you the 7 rules for comma use)
Fix the formatting. This is so hard to read because of the way the sentences break off. I don't know if that's the way you do it in Word, or if FF.net screws it up, but it needs changing.
I like Jesse already. I haven't read too much, but the only hint of stu is that he knows the AL words. I'll have to keep reading to get a clearer picture, but he seems fine, a better OC than most.

great job i love it i cant wait to see what happens next. will galbatorix take over like what happen in the book or will they stop him b4 hes kills most the riders. or if galbatorix does take over will aragon and thelduin join him or will they hid with oromis and glaedr til eggs that surived hatch? keep writing^^

Yeah, somehow I just can't see any slaver attempting to capture Aragon and surviving. Heh, I like that line, 'A mostly painless way to die.' You ought to procure one of those bolt-weapon-thing-a-ma-jiggers for Aragon to use. It's that same weapon that Jax uses in The Confederate.
