Just reading your author's notes about why you made it sasukei, and your reasoning against keitachi or keiba (privately laughing at how well the pairing names worked) and couldn't help but notice that makoto/kei was overlooked, and in this latest chapter, explicitly against. Was this never a possibility in your mind? Even though they worked so well together as 'partners' that one would 'fade' without the other, and each showed physical signs of being unwell during significant separation, despite makoto's constant teasing that kei 'already knew who he liked' and that makoto could tell and was 'waiting for kei to realize'? Was the age difference too great? Did you get stuck on the idea of sasukei after sasu'yu'kei and forced it despite the story flowing naturally another way? Was it because makoto didn't get a spiffy pairing name? 'kotokei sounds pretty nice imho, you could use that?
also, p.s., um, isn't kei dying going to seriously f with the HP prophecy thing? can this jutsu actually kill him despite it? or is there no 'neither can live while the other survives' bit in this au? not that these are in anyway the most important questions. i really only care about kei's lovelife. yup.

Mad Eye's eye can see in pretty much all directions at once, night vision (I think), may be able to see invisible beings, and has been worn by a disguised Death Eater (Barty Crouch Jr.)
The Uchiha's eyes may cast black flames, copy jutsus (and Spells), Has been placed in friends/ allies and enemies bodies/eye sockets, cast genjutsu, and are the envy of Konoha that rivals the Hyuga.

This is such an amazing story. Thank you so much for continuing to write this. Kei's situation right now is so sad and I was literally bawling at one point. Although I have to admit... I really like what you've done. I like stories where the main character or similar resigns himself/herself to a noble death to protect the ones they love. It's so touching and really shows a characters true colors. Despite this, I hope you decide to save Kei. Lets face it: Konoha just won't be the same without its adorable little 11 year old jounin. All in all your story is amazing and I think it's pretty obvious how much you enjoy writing and receiving polls/feedback. There is one thing I would like to see though, and that's a bit more development at Hogwarts. The Louis character you created is awesome, and you have introduced most of the weasly's and hermoine, but I still feel as if its lacking. When Kei (hopefully) gets better, I hope you'll take a chapter or so and expand on Kei's time at the school. Maybe Kei can actually start enjoying his time at Hogwarts, and try to make more (canon?) friends? Also, will Harry's abilities as a parsletounge be revealed? Anyway, this is a spectacular fiction and I'm expecting some great things from this. Thank you so much, and keep it up!

If kei wanted to could he be saved by magic? It's so upsetting that he will die, his character is awesome! And is the pole still going? I'd choose Moody his eye is crazy but the sharingan is cooler

This story is making me extremely sad. It was adorable in the beginning and I still giggle from time to time, but I really don't want Kei to die. :( I'm not sure what you have planned but I hope that Kei and Sasuke do get to admit their feelings for each other.
This story is very good, well written even with the little grammar mistakes that pop up now and again and I really enjoy it. I just wish you would stop making me want to cry!

Goodness, I am so glad I found your story! I used to try reading HP/Naruto crossovers years and years ago, but I couldn't find many that ever wrapped or were original enough.
But this is brilliant! I've laughed so many times today, and I love all your comments, even outside the story! I've cried these last few chapters to the extent of puffy, stinging eyes and a sore throat.
And besides all that, you have created something so amazing, so original, that I can only applaud you through the monitor. It's absolutely stunning and I will look forward to every new chapter that comes my way.
I'm so glad you made this a main Slash fic because I certainly agreed with your comments on these too stories being male-centered, even in their original series. It's very true and having a girl attempt to fit her way into Kei's life would just feel strange.
But more than that, I love the pairing idea! I see it completely, and I'm glad Sasuke's little dreams of marriage aren't just going to fly out the window! It would break his little heart...

I have been reading this for a week (mostly at work which explains my lack of reviews). I was slightly disappointed by the lack of Harry Potter-ness in the fic. Sure, we had random spurts of magical activity, Hogwarts, and Amelia Bones, but something was missing there. Like your posted review, I think there should have been more reaction to Kei's loss of eye.
Snape, or just someone, ought to just stun Kei and take him to the Hospital Wing, cure him. Also, what about a magical eye?
