Jake makes some good points, but their is such a thing as cultural genocide. That's what the U.S. government tried to do to the American Indians. The slogan was something like leave the man but kill the Indian.

All of it was fantastic. You were in character and had realistic plot.
I'm not sure which is my favorite. They were all great.
Sorry for not going into detail.

Been following it since the start, loved all of it. Glad to see there was a return. Hope to see more fics based on series from my childhood, especially ones this good. You're a great author, in this and your other fics.
Thank you.

I like that she's obviously kept track of just how long she's been gone and I'm glad that the series ended on an optimistic note. Every time I read the end of the last book I want to throw my copy against the wall. That is NOT how you end a series! And they didn't even start fighting until the end of the first book anyway so it's not even bookends.

I'm not sure how I feel about them coming home since I think it was clearly supposed to be a suicide mission. Still, not everyone made it (even if the person who didn't was a minor character who likely never would have been happy as a nothlit) and it's not all rainbows and sunshine at the end. And someone finally got Tobias to be human again and it's about damn time. Not surprising that Marco had to trick him first.

I think this one is very well done; the focus is much tighter. It's also an interesting idea.

Aw. The end? I like the hopeful note. And I will just happily go on and assume he and Cassie get back together and go on to have Animorph babies together.

Oh, I must have missed this one. Very fascinating. At least Jake's getting something out of Tom's situation?

I've loved this series from start to finish. Tom, a character who was sympathetic yet someone who was always on the periphery of my concern and never the centre, became very rounded, a wonderful character. We see Jake and the rest of the Animorphs when they are in their moments of levity and at their darkest. You've brought back a book series very near and dear to my heart and it was amazing. Thank you.

I love this! The only thing is, KA Applegate said in an interview once the Ellimist fiddled with the human-Tobias morph so it aged the way it would normally. But otherwise it was perfect! Thanks!

Yeah, might as well take the advice. This was really fascinating.

This is disturbing on so many levels. I really hope that you write another scene a some point where Jake tells Rachel (and possibly Marco) that he pumped Tom for information on how to write this, since it would be interesting for them to realize that his arguments in this class debate were actually the Yeerks' arguments. Or maybe he will just make an offhand comment about where he got the information from to Rachel, who will be disturbed by the fact that she was technically arguing against the arguments that the Yeerks make about humans.
