Okay. I am a Twilight fan. I love the books and I love the movies. But, before you stop reading this review, I am also a fan of the Harry Potter Series. I mean, there has been at least one Harry movie each year since I was a little girl and came to an end my freshmen year. It's really odd without them. I've actually caught myself thinking about the next Harry movie coming out in the summer only to remember that there will be no more Harry Potter movies. Now, I do agree that sometimes I did end up lost in some of the words in Twilight. They seem to be too hard to understand and I'm a pretty good reader. In Harry Potter, I do know that there is love in the story and that Lily did sacrifice herself for her son and that Ron and Hermione did have feelings for each other that I knew would turn into a husband wife relationship. But, Twilight also has love in it. As for my grammar I will admit I suck in this area. Yes, I am not the best speller and I don't know every proper way to write. I am human, I am young, and I am learning. So, just because I am a Twilight fan doesn't mean that I'm horrible at writing. Infact, I would like to go to college to do something involving Creative Writing and or English (plus Theatre). And just because someone can't write amazingly, does not mean that it will not be a classic twenty forty years from now. Right now, at the rate that the books are selling and the many tourists that visit Forks, this will allow Twilight to stay for quit awhile. Plus, anyone can write and any story no matter how badly written or well done it is can be loved by millions of people around the world. Ugh, I've talked forever now. Sorry if I annoyed you. I will leave this review now with this, I love both Harry Potter and Twilight. Thank you for reading my review.

WTF? Ever seen that O_O face on IM? Yeah, I kinda look like that. Whoever wrote that Twi-shit has severe brain damage. Twilight is the actual proof that mormons can't write... HP is just fucking awesome; it doesn't need unnecessary adjectives to put emotion into a scene. That's literature, without Mary Sues and their border-line abusive glittery, faggy boyfriends...

okaaaaaaay...that was well done, really...i seriously can't see why anybody would think that twilight is better than harry potter. i mean, liking twilight is one thing, but actually comparing it with harry potter, and is sort of idiotic, because harry potter has a LOT more substance to it than twilight will ever have. the characters are so much more real! well, calling twihards 'idiots' is sort of harsh, because its the books that are flawed, not the readers. but apart from that, i think your arguments would have certainly made a lot of people see the light!

keep writing more, girl!

Though I agree with you on just about every point, I don't like attacking people for their opinions. This is just as much to the reviewers as to the author.

This post really pissed me off (the original one, not your comments), and I think for the most part, you stick with rebutting her arguments and defending the text well, which is what we should really be doing rather that calling each other idiots.

Let us keep defending out beloved Harry Potter (and fantasy genre itself)!

Man does wasting ur time bashing twilight really make you feel good? Sure hope so cuz its a waste of ur time. Ya know when I don't like something I ignore it instead of finding knew ways to insult people. Yes that girl may be stupid but that does not make the rest ofus tihards idiots. Those were not five ways to prove a twilighter wrong they were five ways to insult people and be a jackass. I mean in the time your spending doing this bullshit you can find a new hobby, such as : actually reading twilight for other reasons instead of insulting it. Andbefore you ask I have read ALL of the twilight AND all of the HP books. I love them both, and have also seen all of there movies. When I was younger my mom took me to see every HP movie that came out. I hated it but I didn't bash them, I just asked to not go. It didn't work but over the years I grew to love them and I started to read the books. Now Bella is not an idiot. She is just extremely unlucky, she is also human. She didn't ask for ppl to love her like they do she just wants to be with dear old Eddie here. Steph made it clear that Bella wasn't made for ppl to try to be like. But because some ppl don't understand that they still try. I read this crap to prove you wrong. And really if you hate tilight so much than don't worry about it ignore it like everybody else does. Alot of my friends hate twilight but we are still just fine, some hate HP but thats cool to there is more to life than being stupid because you may or may not be a fan. And to that girl who said she had to use a dictionary fo HP come on are you really that dumb I am thirteen and I knew all of the words she used. Really I have a college reading level. Don't put too much thought on where the spells came from come on who really care there spells and they just have a function. And the girl who was talking crap about HP honestly shut the fuck up and read a book for real.I guess it's just a trend to only like on of the phenomenons but they are both great!

I like both but HP is more exciting it actually has fights. Breaking Dawn would be more exciting if a fight was there though. GO HP:D

Whew! Wow! I had a good laugh! I haven't read any of the Twilight books nor the Harry Potter. I'm not reading Twilight any time soon but I am interested in the Harry Potter series. From how you described it, the series sounds interesting. I might just read them. Good job though! Way to give those Twilighters a smack to the face!
