Carlisle's right - Irina did betray them. It's like him to look for reasons and excuses for her behavior, but there aren't really any valid ones. She should have know them and trusted them enough to at least talk to them about what she saw. Somehow I don't think Kate or Tanya would have reacted that way. And poor Carlisle to feel guilty about her actions. I'm so glad you're finishing this story. BD2 was amazing, and I'm glad it inspired you to keep writing about C&E.

Oh, how sweet - Esme's scent comforts him! The "teaching Bella to be human" was the funniest one in the movie. Carlisle and Esme's faces were priceless. I'm glad you're still writing one of my favorite stories.
