This story seems like a bit of a fan girl fantasy. From the excessive Dumbledore bashing, to Harry and Draco being best friends, and the tired old fangirl argument to justify dark! Harry going into gryffindor. "but it's actually slytherin to be sorted into gryffindor!"
No. It isn't. It's gryffindor to be sorted into gryffindor. And canon Draco going into gryffindor is ridiculous. I don't believe the hat would be so easily duped by a pair of eleven year olds.
Along with the idea that pureblood fanatics like Draco only object to muggleborns because they lack knowledge, and will get along fine with them if they are sufficiently humble. And the Stephanie Meyer-esque way of presenting everyone who opposes Harry as bumbling fool, while everyone who is on his side is far superior to the rest of the population.

You do realize that wizards live for well over a 100 years, death at 78 would be like death at 30 for muggles. I'm pretty sure that Dumbles is around 170 in the books.

Just took the last few days to reread this fic. Very curious what happened with Skeeter and how Dumbles will react to his article not being printed...so far anyways. Hopefully Sirius will get out of his funk. Now what will Harry do about the school? I don't think even basilisk venom will do anything for this. Can't wait to see what comes next and if things will ever get better for this family.

Your story has taken the great jump over the shark, and fell on your bum! There is no way that Hogwarts would have let a horcrux assume any control over Itsself especially one with only 1/8 of a soul at the most! And anyway, wouldn't a 3/4 pure Gryphindor take presidance over a 1/2 blood-1/8 soul Slytherin?
