BAHAHAHAHA that. is. AWESOME. Ohhhh if only Uther knew. It would be hilarious to see him splutter at the idea that his son's new horse has had training with magic and his saddle has been enchanted. Of course, then he'd need to promptly forget because that would not be safe.

It's weird to think about that 5 or so chapters ago Liam was still so completely grief stricken. It's just nice to see him slowly working through that with everyone's help. He's so adorable and getting stronger and awww.

"The people who get close to me always get hurt." I sincerely hope that trend has ended with Kalem since he actually lived. I reaaaaally don't want to cry anymore because of deaths in his makeshift family.

:D Yay! He didn't die! Ah, thank you for telling us he wouldn't appear again in this fic. I know I would've been constantly waiting for him to otherwise.
I'm glad this is what Kalem meant when speaking to Hargren before. I was so incredibly confused with his talk of "...but don't tell him what happened after I was taken from here..." and so, yeah, I'm incredibly glad this is what he meant. I hope he gets to meet Merlin again someday. :)

I've been crying so much while reading this fic.
I'm going to kind of agree with one of the other reviewers. I was apprehensive at first to start reading a fic with an OC as the main character, especially since I have yet to read A Question of Motives so I really don't even know Liam. And yet, even from the first chapter you had me immediately hooked and caring for Liam and his family with just the knowledge of it being set in the Merlin universe enough for me. However, now I'm actually reading for Liam to see where he's going to go in his life and the random instances we see other characters has become more of a novelty. Though a very exciting one for sure.
Point is, you are an amazing writer and thank you for putting so much effort into this series.
