That was a cool chapter. Perhaps a little short for my liking, but damn good. Is Philip Banks going to actually admit that Adam played in/won the championship this time? How will Adam react to being USA ducks when Jan comes in and gives them their new uniforms? How long will it take for Adam's wrist to completely heal?

Cool story. Very interesting idea. Is Bombay ever going to figure out that Adam's dad is abusive? Are any of the Ducks? Charlie certainly seems perceptive enough. What's his dad going to say about the final game? Is he going to be ecstatic and over the moon that he got accepted to Eden Hall? Is Cassie going to be able to go to Eden Hall as well, or is she going to keep being home schooled?

Ah...I really dislike Caleb, I think I've told you this several time but I thought I should mention it again.
Adam, Adam, Adam, as much as I hate Caleb I love Adam. Oh he is the best. Mmhmm, yup quite impressed by him in this chapter. =]

This is good. Really well written.
It's nice to read a story from Adam's POV where he isn't depressed all of the time or acting really weak, but at the same time he's still having to deal with all of the stuff in his life like his dad and injuries and I think that the way you have written that is really in-character.
