I had read the first few chapters when you first posted, but was scrolling through stories when I realized I had never finished. Great story - love how she knew from the start that they would be together. Love how protective he is of her. Great AU storyline of how they ended up on Serenity.

This really was fantastic! I enjoyed it very much. The end didn't feel like the end, though. It felt like a pause while you're working on the sequel. Right? :) This story was an idea I hadn't seen before and it'd be interesting to see how the known adventures of Serenity play out with the new dynamic. Ariel surely would have been different. Anyway, just some fun things to speculate on. Thank you for the fun read and a great way to kill a few otherwise rather boring hours!

I remember reading a bit of this a long while ago... and stubled upon it tonight... it surpassed my expectations, I loved it! You wove the Rayne story with grace, and stitched up neatly to the series. An example of the best in fanfiction.

This was great - I don't usually like AU fics that much, but you wrote the characters very well, and I liked how you brought it back around so that they all end up on Serenity.
And of course, the Jayne and River relationship was just adorable.

Of course the ship they found was Serenity :D I should've known that this would happen, but somehow I missed all the signs. It's great that you tied your story with the show like this.
Thanks for the awesome ride! I'll miss this story, that's for sure. I hope you'll write more Rayne in the future.
