Wow Twin. Wow. Way to make me cry and squee back to back. ;)
Ok, first off, it took me way longer to read this chapter than normal because I spent about five straight minutes laughing at the log-in names. I do believe PerryPotter is my new favorite word. It's just so perfect and so Blaine (kind of synonymous, aren't they?).
"THEN WHY DOESN'T HE GET IT?"
Poor Blaine. I'm so sorry, sweetheart. Oh, halves of Klaine. Why must you be so clueless?
And, Wes? David? You couldn't have mentioned that little contingency beforehand? Would have saved us all a lot of trouble.
But I do have to say, I love this caring side of Wevid, at least where Kurt is concerned. Once again, as opposed to Operation Klaine, it's Operation Make Kurt Happy. I like that Wes and David have really become Kurt's friends and see him as Kurt, not just Blaine's crush.
And then the doorbell rang. Here come the tears.
Blaine was right though. Good sex or not, it should have been special. Poor Kurt. None of his firsts turn out like their supposed to. First Karofsky, now Drew.
I do have to say, I LOVE the physical closeness of Kurt and Blaine. You'd think that after the major disappointment of his first time being intimate, he'd want as little contact with other people as possible. But, with Blaine, they're already so intimate on a personal and emotional level. In a moment where he felt vulnerable and scared, he went to Blaine. The first time wasn't special because Drew and Kurt don't have that connection. The most intimate of acts meant nothing because there was nothing behind it. Because of everything they are to each other, Kurt's kiss to Blaine's cheek meant more than anything Drew could ever do.
Which is exactly why (as Wes so aptly puts), Blaine is the only one to know how to fix Kurt.
Come on Blainey, put that beautiful smile on our Sweet Porcelain's face!

Oh Twin! Forgive my negligence in reviewing the awesomeness that is this story.
Oh Blainey! I'm so conflicted because my dear twin writes your suffering so well that I lap it up like a shamelessly thirsty dog and at the same time, I just want to hug you, honey. Poor sweetheart.
And of course I feel like a jerk cause the image of Blaine jumping out of bed and throwing clothes on lighting quick cause Kurt texted is kind of hysterical. I'm giggling, I'll admit it.
This was cool because I, for one, would love to see Kurt dressed down a little. Not Mellencamp!Kurt or anything, but exactly what you've written here. Casual but elegant in its simplicity. And I really love how you have Blaine thinking that Kurt looks so good. This idea appeals to me particularly because I had a teacher once who had us watch "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and when Holly Golightly is singing Moon River, she's wearing this old gray sweatshirt and her hair is wrapped up in that turban towel thingy that girls do and I think some ripped white pants and, in that outfit, she is STUNNING. My teacher pointed out that when a woman can still look as lovely as Audrey does when she is so dressed down, that is true beauty. I like that Blaine sees that in Kurt.
Once again, you masterfully illustrate the Kurt/Blaine friendship we so love. Everything is just so EASY together and that's how a relationship should be. Kurt doesn't have to try, doesn't have to dress up. They don't have to really do anything. They don't even have to really talk. Each other's presence is enough.
I will admit though, when Blaine screamed, I leapt out of my chair (which is kind of embarrassing cause I'm READING this for god's sake. How does that even work?). Also, Blaine's reaction is totally understandable. I jump out my skin every time my own phone vibrates. Honestly, no one expects their pocket to spontaneously vibrate. It's just not natural.
Kurt and Blaine cuddling so close that Blaine feels Kurt's phone buzz, however? That's completely natural. I'm very much behind that. In fact, I"m angry with the phone. Stupid device, interrupting Klaine cuddles.
Actually, I take it back. Stupid DREW for interrupting Klainey goodness. Not cool man. Not. Cool.
And Kurt, this boy is obviously a bad influence. I just can't see prim and proper Kurt Hummel being rude enough to just dump any friend (let alone Blaine) at the drop of a hat from his boyfriend. And I certainly don't care for Drew being pushy enough to make Kurt do so. Also, this "boyfriend" (I wanted to use sarcastic air quotes but I'm not sure the typed out ones are doing it justice and there's no sarcasm font. Oh well) is an inconsiderate ** for judging Kurt's outfit when he just called out of the blue. I HATE PEOPLE WHO DO THIS! YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY WARNING OR ADVANCED NOTICE! YOU DO NOT GET TO BE ANGRY WITH ME FOR NOT BEING PREPARED!
Seriously Kurt, break up with this jerk. No one hangs up with their boyfriend looking like they're about to cry. At least, no one in a healthy relationship. Talking with Blaine makes you all giggles and sunshine. Think it over, Kurtie-pie.
I will say, I kind of wished Blaine hadn't controlled himself. As you've probably noticed, I like Blaine beating up on people who are bad to Kurt. ;)
I will say, the first time I read this chapter, I did not like the hug. At first, I thought it was Kurt trying to get back at Drew by paying attention to Blaine and it just seemed so cruel to use Blaine like that. Thankfully, I re-read this section many times. I'm now a little disturbed about how cynical my mind is to assumed that everyone is so petty but I am very relieved that Kurt isn't like that.
I very much like that Kurt is more comfortable with Blaine than Drew, even on a physical level. He and Drew don't even occupy the same space when Kurt gets picked up. I'm also pretty sure Kurt wouldn't have been up for any contact from this boy. And I like that the hug went on longer than was strictly necessary. I'm sure that, for Kurt, Blaine represents all happy feelings he had about this morning just as much as he represented hope and courage (wink-wink) to Kurt when he was going through his roughest times. Blaine has been, probably will always be, Kurt's rock. So far, anytime he and Drew have had trouble, Kurt goes to Blaine to feel better.
Can I say how adorable I find breathless Blaine with a, what is I'm sure, gobsmacked He-huged-me! expression on his face? Cause I find it really, super-duper, mega, ultra, to-the-max adorable.
Such goodness this story is (Don't ask when I started channeling Yoda. I'm not sure) and I am not going to rest until I finish reviewing it. Till then, dear twin of mine. ;)

Another fabulous chapter from my dearest twin. Let the rambling about your amazingness begin.
Your pining Blaine is so sad. I just see him walking around Dalton like a kicked puppy. But I secretly love the idea of him staring at Kurt because he is too smitten to pay attention. It's so sweet! And you captured his dapperness perfectly with how he's miserable with the situation but will stand aside because Kurt is happy.
The argument was brilliant. It not only opens up issues with Kurt's relationship with Drew, but it also points out just how perfect Blaine really is for Kurt. I can definitely see where you used the line from Taylor Swift's song here. "Cause she doesn't get your humor like I do"
Also, I don't think there is a more perfect way to show that someone is wrong for Kurt than to have them assume that Kurt doesn't appreciate fashion.
Blaine wanting to celebrate the fact that Kurt was fighting with Drew was hysterical and so revealing. Oh Kurt, why must you be oblivious? Why can't both halves of Klaine get it together at the same time?
We've said it before and we'll say it again: Blaine and Kurt have such a deep connection. You really illustrate so well how they talk to each other about everything and have so much in common. And the fact that Drew doesn't and that he's selfish enough to only talk about himself and Kurt is selfless enough to listen and not complain.
Poor Kurt is so hung up on the idea of a boyfriend that he's not really examining the quality of the one he's got too carefully.
You forgive him now Kurt, but it's not going to get better.

Oh my dear Twin! The only reason I'm not crying hysterically at this chapter is because I've read all the way through so I don't have to him-haw on how it will turn out. ;)
As we've said before, I absolutely ADORE a pining Blaine because Kurt is fantastically awesome and someone should sit up and take notice!
You took an interesting turn with Wes and David. As much as I love my Wevid shipper fangirls, I like them genuinely taking an interest in Kurt's happiness instead of just trying to make Klaine happen. I love it when they do that, but I like this a lot! It shows a depth not usually seen in other fics, in that there is some doubt that maybe Kurt needs someone other than Blaine (it's not true but they don't know that yet)
And you struck a nice balance for Drew, in that he seems decent enough for Kurt to be interested and for everyone to believe that he may have good intentions but the history with Blaine plants the seeds of doubt. This is AWESOME because usually, it's either a complete scumbag or an innocent bystander that just gets hurt because Blaine and Kurt can't keep their hands off each other.
And poor Kurt. Thinking Blaine was still in love with his ex. And this is yet another layer of complications that Blaine so does not need but that makes the story so great! It's just so Kurt to assume that and so Blaine to not give him the whole story (you know, the part where he's jealous because he doesn't get to date Kurt)
"I'm still crazy about you, and you still don't have a clue."
My heart BROKE on that line. Such a brilliant way to close this chapter. Once again, you satisfy the "Kurt is awesome and deserves someone to pine over him" need for me and set up the suffering Blaine will go through. Poor baby.
So yeah, I was hooked immediately. This rocks!
