This is developing into a lovely story. I think you've had a long enough hiatus from its telling, however *soft smile*. Won't you please continue?

Please, don't just stop there! I really hope that you will continue with this story. It is so well written and the characters are authentic. I enjoy reading your stories. It would be a shame to leave this one unfinished. Please think about it.
Thank you for sharing!
Have a great day!

'Don't underestimate her—she'd be fully capable of forcing a multi-course meal on you, if she thought it would make you eat.'
-He sounds like someone who's been at the other end of that one himself. Snape manages Hermione well, by offering both someone to help give her structure, and to give her freedom. He knows exactly when to make his departure, and how to make her guilty about not caring for Crooksie, heh.
And by giving her a destination she wants to go to, she will think of it, rather than how best to commit slow suicide.
But then, Snape understands precisely why she's living in squalor (cough Spinners End cough cough).

Excellent chapter. No wonder Crooks is happy; his job is half done. I am so glad that Severus came for Hermione (no doubt the tape was "Benny Hill: The Lavender Mob Years" or some such).

Oh, my-this chapter is about depression with malice aforethought. She isn't actively contemplating suicide just yet, but she's getting really close to doing it by accident.

Wow, this is so intriguing-a HG/SS story in which Hermione is the one in need of reassurance/reawakening. And so well-written. Looking forward to reading more.

Well...Snape needs to suck it up and knock this time. It's what he asked of Hermione, after all.
I think it's a very good omen that the wards recognize him, though.
