Wow! I think this is the best story I have read so far on the whole Hannibal/Clarice thing. You have captured the essence of both of them beautifully I must say :)
Please please do continue and finish the story. ( I'm having anxiety attacks already thinking about what Hannibal's reaction will be to Clarice's question :/ )

These last two chapters felt like you're trying to get back into writing mode, like they were an introduction to more, something intense, elaborate, frightening, sensational. You've named your story 'What if'- why don't you use that as a guide for the next chapters? Just have something happen and go with it! Quoting Raymond Chandler: "When in doubt, have somebody enter the room with a gun"...

I almost didn't believe it when I got the email alert. I clicked it and was like "Really, really?" I'm so glad you're back! Sorry that things were rough for you for a bit, but I think you did a good job getting back into the fic. Long enough to feel worth the time but short enough for getting back into the swing of things. I hope things start looking up for you and I can't wait until the next chapter :)
