I like the layout and progression of your story. You did a good job of building Thresh's character and personality. There wasn't much of him in the book.
As far as the question of whether you were rambling or not, one of the reasons I decided to click on your story, besides the summary, was because it wasn't extremely short like most of the ones for Rue. I quite liked it!

This was an amazing story. I am impressed by the way you stuck so closely to the books and made this fanfiction possible. I wish I could have read when Thresh meets Katniss, but I love the way you ended it. Congratulations on a great story and thank you.

Rambling? Puh-Leese! That was amazing! It was not rambling, it was detailed. If you look at a real book you notice that authors do that too. They put so much information into one moment, one second. It's more real that way. Overall Amazing!

I think that your story was just... perfect. I mean, we read the books and we don't realize that behind those characters there are feelings and life experiences. The way you showed Tresh was amazing. So misterious...
I think that without a little bit of rant the story wouldn't have been so interesting. You didn't rant excesiveley. It was the perfect measure of ranting.
I ADORE the way you write. I'll check other fics of yours. (I have a fanfiction account but I was to lazy to sign in)

No, I don't think you rambled! That was great! I really, really liked it! Very cool to get a look inside Thresh's head, though I never actually imagined him being interested in Rue like that...well, whatever, it was still amazing! I too have had my fair share of incidents with waves (I've still got scars on my shoulder...not a fun time) so that was a pretty intense bit, at least for me.
Anyhow, great job!
