Hmm I wonder what Nathan is so scared of? Maybe other vampires who wouldn't accept them? His hostility toward Carlisle was very amusing, but I can understand it, he did hurt Bella in an inexcusable way! The notion of him as a back up for the knowlege was also good. The true mate thing also applies to Bella and fred (and Edward - there is NO way in the world he could have slept with her then left if they were mated. He may have claimed he did it for love, but no way!) All o0f their true mated are still out there! Very nice!

What a great story. I can't wait for you to post. I hate that Edward and Bella aren't together but so far you haven't made Edward that sympathetic so it works in this story. I love the plot and can't wait to see where you go next with the story.
