but worried a bit about G'regg as he seemed to have something in his eye and kept blinking that eye at her. This and the two dragons doing the dog shake was soooo funny. You wrote it so well I could see it clearly.

I am rereading this after Mara's previous fics. First Scoring is really good and is in no way a spoiler for this Weyrling fic. I regularily loose myself on Pern for hours(candlemarks) on end. I do look forward to each chapter. Thanks

Another chapter well worth waiting for.
I am surprised though, with all that oil, that the Agenothree couldn't be quickly washed off and neutralised with washing soda as it would take many hours to breach the oil and even start to damage leather; or is this a clue? is it indeed the much more powerful aqua regia, a combination of sulphuric and nitric acid that can even destroy bodies [after all we all know AMC made a mistake in thinking F'nor could destroy dead firelizard bodies with agenothree]? you can't make nitric acid without sulphuric acid which would be a smithcraft secret so I'm wondering if this is a big clue to someone with smithcraft training...
