The thing I hated most about the movie Terminator was that they killed off Kyle. It was wonderful to find a fic where he didn't die.

Strange how few Kyle/Sarah stories there are around here. Just a travesty me thinks. I'll have to add to the number!
Anyway, this was really really well written and we get a great glimpse of Sarah becoming the tough chick we see in the 2nd film and Sarah Connor Chronicles.
However, while I love the fact that Kyle is alive, the way it came out of nowhere just threw me. If we'd had any hint earlier on in the fic that he was still living, I probably wouldn't have been so eh about him being alive if that makes sense.
Still a great little oneshot either way though!
