Very cute chapter. The early banter as they were waking up was especially good, though having Kutner and mentioning Firefly in the chapter was also pretty awesome.

Just started reading this last night and it is a cute story, especially in these last couple chapters with the interaction picking up. I don't think they are moving to fast as you did set up some time in between events that I think compensates for the idea that they are picking up the pace. The age of the characters is also a factor as this isn't Thirteen and Cameron who went through college, medical school and the demands of being doctors.
Besides all of that, I still wouldn't complain if things were moving too quickly. :)
