When I hear the debates about nurture Vs. Nature I laugh. You see I can empathise with Mac. My daddy and I are not related by blood, like my mother and I are. But he's the only man I've ever called Daddy the only one who deserves the title. My father has been in my life since I was 2 and adopted me when I was 3 and 1/2 (Utah's laws were screwy in 1991) I have so many of his habits and 99.999% of the time neither of us care that tech. we're not related but he's the father of my soul.

A nice story completely destroyed by your two original characters. I avoid stories with OC for just this reason, the JJ twins are total Mary Sues, perfect at everything and everyone just LOVES them. I might have bought Eli, Duncan OR Wallace falling for Jazim but ALL THREE! Please, unoriginal and lazy writing, which is sad because the rest of the story is very well done, including Daisy. But these two have taken over the entire story and destroyed any of my motivation to finish it. And seeing as they'll continue to dominate your future installments I'm stopping here. Hopefully you'll come to your senses and send them both back to Chicago, with any luck in pieces.

Okay, finally finished this story. Sorry it took me so long. I have to admit, I kind of actively disliked Jazmin for most of the second half of this story. She's a bit Mary Sue to me, having like zero faults whatsoever. The only times I ever really liked her was when she was sniping at Daisy in the earlier chapters. All of her angst in Vegas before Wallace had even done anything wrong reminded me too much of my whining girlfriends, and I figured she'd be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. It also kind of bugged me how her brother and several of the male characters seemed to hold her up as the example of all that was truth and light. So I have to say I truly enjoyed the last two chapters where my personal opinions were lampshaded first by Veronica and then Daisy. Until then, I thought I was 'reading it wrong'.
I thought Jackie's behavior was out of character from the girl we saw in Plan B who 'didn't want to be that girl anymore'. With that said, I was delighted that she was OOC, and I'm rooting for her and Wallace.
Now on to what I liked: I LOVE Daisy. I love her more than a lot of the canon characters. She's fantastic. I love her high self-esteem and her 'no bullshit' attitude. Hopefully, she continues in the next two stories. I like her little almost-romance with Jason, and hopes she makes him work for her. I've never disliked Parker, but I was pretty ambivalent towards her on the show. You actually increased my like for her, and I LOVE her chemistry with Duncan. I like how you're not letting Duncan give up without a fight. I was annoyed with Piz for punching Duncan. Duncan's not the one in the relationship, and it seemed pretty mutual. I hate it when blame gets shifted for cheating. I LOVED Veronica at the end of the story when she went all V-Justice, and I loved Logan's proud reaction. I love how you wrote their relationship. It was exactly how I see things being between them.
I'm interested in reading the next story to find out what happens with Trina, Wallace/Jackie, Jason/Daisy and of course, L/V. Sorry again that it took me so long to finish.

Glad the Wallace-Jazmin drama was finally resolved though it was good to have a good story for Wallace a character who never does much in any story I've read... You've made him a lot more interesting, at least for me!
And it was such a great ending! Loved the last scenes esp. the very last one that was cute but also slightly cliffhanger-y. Bringing Trina back to L&V's life with a bun in the oven is very intriguing...
Road to Epic's already promising!

WOW! I really did not see this coming and it is genius... It puts nearly everyone at risk of some pretty dire legal trouble! I am slowly catching up on this fic and love how in addition to the character and relationship development there are also new stories like this investigation.

I disliked Daisy initially with her games when she was dating Wallace but I really warmed up to her recently esp. when she was so open about how impressed she was with LoVe and then when she defended V from Madison... I think you did a great job developing this character (as well as he Jaleno siblings...)

This is one of my fav chapters ever! So romantic... I think you have a great balance between the central MaDi story and the others among which of course LoVe are more important since they are MaDi's respective best friends!

Great story. I love all the MaDi action but it included a lot of good action from other couples too, including lots of cute LoVe scenes (and a hot LoVe scene or 3 too). Really liked how you brought Lauren into the mix and brought she & Mac closer. Bone marrow transplant though, ouch! Glad it all worked out in the end for Mac & Dick, they definitely bring the best out in each other.

Not sure how I feel about this story. Neat idea, but way too many secondary couples in here. Thought this was supposed to be centered around Mac and Dick? There's more LoVe and OC's in here than the real couple.
Also - Dick isn't stupid. We've never seen anything on the show that points to him being dumb. He's lazy and that's why he didn't graduate on time, not stupid. There's a big difference. In your story you've got him constantly being "baffled" and "perplexed" (your words not mine) by things as they occur and that's not really in character. Your Logan is pretty in character, but your Veronica is far too soft. She is a marshmallow in some ways, but not nearly to the extent that you've written her here.
Good ideas, but too many things taking place and pulling focus from the main point of the story.
