I loathe when people write him to be a tyrant. He's not bashful and he's not shy; he just doesn't relish in talking to people he doesn't know. I can relate to that.

The accident itself was a bit confusing to me. I'm not sure why trying to protect Elizabeth would have hurt her more. You don't show us that vision, do you? Was this the future brought to life that he foresaw earlier or was this split-second pre-vision the only foresight he had of the accident?

I am with you 100% on introversion over shyness for Darcy - but I have to say, I find shy!Darcy a very plausible scenario.

Thank you for Darcy's introspection! I thought he'd never figure out what an unmitigated ass he's been, and you've got him mostly there! Now he just needs to realize that HE may not be what Elizabeth wants, and to figure out how to be a better man, since he's still really self-centered right now.
Looking forward to more, and am amazed that you've been writing this story for more than two years!

Oh no! I hope Lizzy isn't hurt too badly but who doesn't love when Darcy gets to take care of her? Will she lose her memory just when they were making such progress?! What an emotional day for her. First the Tuxedo Effect shocks her - every man looks better in a tux so Darcy must be downright swoonworthy. Then she's scared of his swoonworthiness and sexy animal magnetism...ok I'm getting off track here...and nice-guy-ness. And he has a secret. Oy.

It's all "good stuff" to me!
What an embarrassing ordeal for Lizzy! I loved the part about praying before their meal, and Lydia mocking Lizzy for using big words. Definitely agree with Lizzy's thoughts about Bingley and I love that she's comparing him, and her father, to Darcy, even if she still thinks Darcy odious and snotty. I think my favorite was her mental impersonation of Darcy!
