Your story was so awesome! Do you write books because you could be an author for a living you are so good at writing. I learned a lot of new words from reading that and I normally have to read really hard books to find any words I don't know. I bow down to great writers like you.

Good. Not my personal favorite style of writing but good. Actually I shouldn't say "style" its just more of the plot really. I love Estel/Legolas/Twins angst with a mystery thrown in. I prefer long fanfics too... But this was still pretty awesome too. Its very original and they way you portrayed a young Legolas was the best I've read so far. Keep up the good writing!

I just finished reading 'Leaf and Branch'. What an exhilarating story-it was such a wonderful read-so different and uplifting to the spirit, despite the bad stuff that happens. You have drawn so well the noble Elves Elrond, Galadriel, Celeborn and Thranduil, and you made me love them even more than I already did. And the little Legolas is so tenderly written and so real-I felt I could reach out and touch him-no-HUG him!
You are so talented-your descriptions are exquisite-the words you choose to write are so PERFECT-it was a joy to read your story.
The ending struck me the most-when Legolas finally reunites with his father-that had me all misty-and I just loved the part about the braids.
I have devoured this story since discovering you, and now I am off to read 'Dark Leaf', which I anticipate will be another greatly enjoyable read.

This is such a beautiful story! Well, the first isn't, lol, but the ending certainly is.
One chapter title caught my eye as so moving..."Shadow has never been a Father". That was nearly sob worthy!
I decided to read this story first before going back to your site for the Dark Leaf story. Black on white is easier on my eyes than the beautiful (and apt) green. :)

wow... very well done. It is amusing to juxtapose Elrond and Galadriel... to see he go from the Large and In Charge elflord in the Mirk... I mean Greenwood, to the young elfling in Lorien... although i'm sure that fatigue played a part in that too...lol.
